Messiah's Mansion

Have you ever wanted to travel back in time? Specifically, back to Bible times? This summer the past is coming to you in the form of the Old Testament Sanctuary.   In Exodus 25:10-26:21(approximately year 1491 B.C.), God gave Moses instructions to build a sanctuary, a place where He could be among his people.  To give you an idea of its size, the replica coming to Millersburg will arrive by semi-truck and will take 40 volunteers three days to set it up.

Have you ever stopped to think about how the Israelites made such a large tented structure?  This was before modern factories to make large bolts of cloth or machines to fabricate unique decorative moldings.  What about how they moved it?  There were no semitrailers to move the many pieces and parts of the sanctuary while they wandered in the wilderness for forty years.  How about the man power required to assemble the sanctuary each time they stopped and set up camp? You can ponder these questions and appreciate the enormity of their undertaking when you come to visit the sanctuary for yourself.

The life-size replica of the Old Testament sanctuary is owned and operated by Messiah's Mansion, a non-denominational, nonprofit ministry that brings the sanctuary wherever it is hosted to pitch its tents. Part living history, part museum this is a great opportunity to see all the parts of the sanctuary, learn about the reason for the sacrificial system, understand the importance of the specific furniture and significance of the priest’s robes.

The sanctuary will be open for nine days of tours, June 28-July 6, 2025 from 1pm-6:30pm.  Tours last about 1 hour 15 minutes.  Walk-ups welcome, but reservations suggested for large groups to help with wait times. Tours are free!  This is ideal for all people of all age groups. Whether you are interested in the Bible, history, or simply want to see something you've never had a chance to see before, this event has something of interest for everyone.

Bible reenactments and replicas are common- the nativity at Christmas, passion plays at Easter or visits to the Ark replica in Kentucky.  Why not come experience this unique part of the Biblical history?
